A Coram man who is a registered sex offender faces child pornography charges, officials said.

David B. Korzeniowski, 62, of Homestead Drive, was arrested Friday at his home by detectives in the computer crimes section and charged with two felonies, possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child, Suffolk County police said.

He was arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Central Islip and held on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash bail, court records said.  His next scheduled court date is Thursday.

His attorney, Paul Barahal, could not be reached for comment Saturday.

Korzeniowski is listed by New York State as a level 3 sex offender.

He was convicted of the same charges in 2005 and sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years of probation.

Detectives said the investigation is continuing and ask anyone with information to call them at 631-852-6279 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
