Detectives from the department’s Computer Crimes Unit who arrested Pedagno examined his iPad, on which they found he had several social media accounts in which he identified himself as a younger person.

Police said he used:

Pedagno is scheduled for arraignment on April 15 at First District Court in Central Islip.

Police ask anyone with information or who believe they may be a victim to contact the Computer Crimes Unit at 631-852-6279.
