A Westhampton man was arraigned Wednesday after police found him in possession of child pornography.

After receiving an Internet Crimes Against Children cyber tip, New York State Police launched an investigation into Kevin Walsh, 22.

Walsh was arrested and charged with three counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and three counts of possession of sexual performance by a child, police said.

He was arraigned at Southampton Town Court and remanded to Suffolk County Jail in lieu of bail.

Walsh did not immediately respond for comment.
