It was supposed to be a barber shop. But, police said, it really was a massage parlor.

On Thursday night, Suffolk County police executed a search warrant at the Kai Kai Barber Shop on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. They arrested two women — one, 47 years old, charged with two counts of prostitution, while the second, Shagfeng Jiang, 40, of 41-17 Main Street, Apt. B 379, Flushing, Queens, was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance, police said.

Police said they also seized $560 in cash, massage tables, a washing machine, a towel warmer, a steam dryer, towels and assorted lotions.

“The business operated under the appearance of a barber shop and massage therapy storefront,” police said, “but inside employees would agree to perform a sexual act for a fee.”

The two women arrested were held overnight and are scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
