Cops: 2 smash case, take jewelry from Brentwood pawnshop

Police are searching for two men who they said walked into a pawnshop in Brentwood early Thursday, smashed a display case with a hammer, stole jewelry — and fled on motorcycles.
Suffolk County police said the incident occurred at Premier Pawn and Jewelry on Suffolk Avenue at about 10 a.m.
Police declined to define the value of what was stolen.
Both suspects wore dark clothing, police said.
