Cops arrest 4 teens in attempted robbery

Nassau police arrested five Hempstead teenagers who are accused of attempting to rob a 59-year-old man in the village Friday night.

Nickolan Decordova, 18, of Baldwin Road, Tyree White, 16, of Terrace Avenue, Naquan Ford, 16, of Terrace Avenue and a 15-year-old and 13-year-old were charged with first- and second-degree attempted robbery, police said. One of the teenagers attempted to push the victim to the ground while the others surrounded him at 11:38 p.m., according to police.

The man, who was not injured, notified police. The defendants were located a short time later, police said.
