A Bethpage man violated Leandra’s Law early Monday when he drove drunk with his 10-year-old daughter as a passenger, Nassau County police said.

Walter Rissmeyer, 41, of South Herman Avenue, is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, driving across roadway markings and failing to use a designated lane, police said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Third Precinct police officers pulled over Rissmeyer’s 2007 Chrysler sport utility vehicle on Lakeville Road in Lake Success shortly before 2 a.m., according to a news release.

Police said Rissmeyer was driving while intoxicated and had his daughter, 10, in a rear passenger seat.

No injuries were reported. The girl was released to a family member, police said.
