An 18-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday on a charge of murder after police say she stabbed her brother's girlfriend to death instead of repaying a $20 debt.

Kayla Henriques was being held pending arraignment in Brooklyn and was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon. It wasn't clear if she had a lawyer, and there was no answer at an address for Henriques.

Kamisha Richards was stabbed once in the abdomen about 10:30 p.m. Monday after an argument at a Brooklyn housing project. She was pronounced dead at a hospital. The 22-year-old was a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and had been dating Henriques' brother for a few years.

Richards had apparently lent Henriques cash because the teen said she needed money for her year-old baby, but it wasn't clear if the $20 was spent on the child, authorities said.

The two women traded insults on Facebook the day before the stabbing and into the night. The exchanges, riddled with typos, were removed from Facebook yesterday afternoon.

"I will b needing that $20. . . . This is the last time u will con me into giving u money," the victim posted on the suspect's Facebook page on Sunday.

"Dnt try to expose me mama but I'm not that type to thug it ova Facebook see u wen u get from work," Henriques responds.

"Kayla now u getin out a hand . . . I hope u having fun entertaining the world . . . Trust, IMA HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!!!" Henriques offered a terse reply: "We will see."

The final post, sent from a BlackBerry mobile device yesterday afternoon, was contrite: "I can't be leave this happen I'm sorry I send my condolences to her family Rip kamisha."

It wasn't clear if her site was being managed by a relative or friend, or if Henriques had posted the note herself.
