Cops: Cabdriver shot in Roosevelt
A cabdriver was shot in Roosevelt on Saturday at 7:31 p.m., said Nassau police officer Mary Verna.
Verna confirmed a robbery took place and said the cabdriver was sent to a hospital. The cabdriver suffered a gunshot wound, but was conscious with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
