Man under influence of drugs crashes on Sunrise Highway, cops say
A West Islip man was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs following a crash Sunday on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia, Suffolk County police said.
Adem Geduk, 28, of Higbie Lane, was westbound on Sunrise Highway, west of Exit 48 in Bohemia, when his vehicle struck another vehicle at 9:25 p.m., police said.
No one was injured.
Police said Geduk was charged with DWI drugs.
He is scheduled for arraignment Monday in First District Court in Central Islip.
