Two men attacked and robbed a man inside his car in Valley Stream on Saturday night, Nassau Police said.

Police said the 27-year-old male victim, who they did not identify, was sitting in his car on Gibson Blvd. when a man came up to his car, tapped on the window and asked for a cigarette.

The suspect opened the car door and sat down next to the victim. He told the victim to empty his pockets, and that he had a gun, which he did not display, according to police.

A second man appeared at the driver's window and punched the victim in the face.

The victim got out of his car, and both men fled north on Gibson Ave. then east on South Brush Dr.

The victim was not hurt in the robbery, according to police.

The two suspects got away with some money and an iPhone, according to police, who describe them as black men around 18 or 19 years old. One was 5 feet, 10 or 11 inches and wore a green hooded sweatshirt. There was no further description of the other suspect.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
