Cops: Man who committed lewd act in Hamptons sought
Southampton Town police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who exposed himself on Palo Alto Drive in Hampton Bays on Aug. 16.
The driver of a white, newer model Nissan Murano approached an 18-year-old woman about 6 p.m., exposed himself “and committed lewd acts in front of the woman,” police said.
He then fled in the Murano, police said.
Anyone with information the crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477, town police at 631-728-5000, or the detective division of the town police at 631-702-2230.
A cash reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to an arrest, police said.
