Jewelry stolen from multiple Centereach area burglaries was recovered Thursday after the arrest of two suspects, Suffolk police said.

Anthony Messier, 19, of 74 Hunter Lane, Centereach, and Christina Lisa, 20, of 27 Parkhill Dr., Selden, were both charged with 10 counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

Det. Sgt. Michael Fitzharris said Messier and Lisa committed the 10 household burglaries all within the past three weeks. Information from witnesses led police to concentrate their investigation on the two, Fitzharris said. Detectives made the arrests on Route 25 in Selden about 1:30 p.m., police said.

They were to be arraigned Friday in First District Court in Central Islip.
