Police have released a photo and video of two men who Third Squad detectives believe robbed a man walking along Main Street in Bay Shore in July.

The video, released Thursday and available on YouTube, shows the two suspects, one in a green shirt and the other in a white shirt, walking along the sidewalk in the area during the time of the incident.

Suffolk County police said the robbery occurred July 23 at 12:05 a.m. One of the suspects punched the victim in the face before the pair fled with the man’s cellphone and cash, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.

All calls will remain confidential, and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
