Hauppauge TD Bank branch robbed by man on foot, cops say
A man with a note demanding cash robbed a Hauppauge bank Wednesday evening, Suffolk police said.
He went into the TD Bank on Route 347 about 5:10 p.m. and ran south on Route 111 after getting the cash, police said.
He appeared to be 35 to 40 years old and 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build, police said. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, red sneakers, a New England Patriots baseball cap and sunglasses, police said.
Detectives said anyone with information could call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
