Cops searching for man who robbed Commack bank

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Commack bank Wednesday, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Suffolk County police said the man entered Suffolk Federal Credit Union, at 6150 Jericho Tpke., at about 1:20 p.m. and demanded a teller give him cash.
The teller complied, handing the man cash from a drawer, before the man fled the scene on foot.
Police said the man appeared to be in his late 40s or early 50s. He was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a thin build, and had salt and pepper hair. He wore a white tank top and bluejeans.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call detectives at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
