Cops seek couple wanted in mall store theft

The Fourth Precinct crime section is searching for a couple who stole $910 worth of clothing from a store at the Smith Haven Mall in November, Suffolk County police said.

The couple took 22 men's tops from the Banana Republic at the Lake Grove mall on Nov. 6, police said. The man and woman put the tops in a large purse and left the store without paying for them at about 3:40 p.m., police said
