Cops seek men on bikes in Uniondale mugging

A man was pistol-whipped and robbed by three men on bicycles in Uniondale early Sunday morning, Nassau police said.

The 37-year-old victim was on Park Avenue at 12:37 a.m. when he was approached by three unknown men on bicycles who demanded cash.

One of the suspects struck the victim in the head with a handgun and took a cellphone from him before all three suspects fled west on Park Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a cut on his head.
