Cops seeking man who robbed credit union in Patchogue

Suffolk detectives are searching for a suspect who robbed a Patchogue credit union late Wednesday morning.
Major Case Unit detectives said a man entered Bethpage Federal Credit Union at 272 E. Main St. at about 11:45 a.m. and handed a teller a note while demanding cash.
The teller complied and the suspect left the bank, police said.
Police described the suspect as about 30 years old and standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a long-sleeved black and white shirt, red pants, sneakers, a baseball cap and sunglasses, police said.
