A 21-year-old Southold man has been arrested on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl, State Police said.

Jorge Perez-Illescas of Southold has been charged with third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. Illescas allegedly had sex with the girl this month, police said.

He was arraigned Wednesday in the Town of Southold Justice Court and released on $1,500 cash bail.
