Two suspects armed with shotguns stole jewelry and a car from a Nissequogue home Monday morning, Suffolk County police said.

The suspects entered a house on Smith Lane about 9:15 a.m., stealing jewelry and the homeowner’s Lexus, according to police. There were two residents inside the home during the burglary. Neither were injured, police said.

The Lexus was found burning at Lake Ronkonkoma County Park shortly before 10 a.m., according to police.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
