A Brentwood teen has been arrested after he "tagged" his name, a cartoon face and messages in spray paint on at least seven locations throughout Brentwood, Suffolk County police said.

Fredys Moreno, 16, of 41 Warren Street, Brentwood, was arrested Monday and charged with seven counts of making graffiti and one count of third-degree criminal trespass after police said Moreno illegally entered Suffolk County Water Authority property on Carol Street in Brentwood to spray paint a fence.

Moreno was released on bail and will be arraigned at a later date in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.

Police said that between December and February Moreno spray-painted his "tag" name - "Seslo" - as well as other graffiti in various locations throughout Brentwood.

Police said an investigation by the Third Precinct graffiti suppression coordinator, officer Alexandra Beyrer, led to the arrest on Moreno.
