Corvette struck at BP in Setauket by truck in hit-run, cops say

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Thursday they are looking for the driver of a white pickup who hit a Corvette parked at a gas pump in Setauket, then fled the scene.
A 2015 Chevrolet Corvette was parked at a pump at the BP Station at 728 Rte. 25A at about 4:45 p.m. last Wednesday, police said.
The driver of a white pickup hit the Corvette and left the scene, police said.
Police on Thursday released photographs of the driver and the truck taken from video surveillance at the station.
