The sentencing date for former state Senate majority leader Dean Skelos was postponed Monday until April 13, the same day former Assembly speaker Sheldon Silver is to be sentenced.

Both men were convicted last year of corruption charges in separate trials in Manhattan federal court.

Skelos’ sentencing was put off after U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood asked for additional briefing on post-trial motions filed by Skelos.

Skelos’ sentencing had been set for April 4. His son Adam, convicted with him, will also be sentenced April 13.
