Deer Park mom hosted party with underage drinking, police say

A Deer Park woman has been issued a summons for allegedly hosting a large party at her home Friday night during which there was underage drinking, Suffolk County police said.

Natasha Miles, 44, was charged with violating the Social Host Law and is scheduled for arraignment Nov. 22 at First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said First Precinct patrol officers responded to the Mark Lane house at 10 p.m. after a complaint of beer bottles being in the street.

When police arrived, there were about 200 underage people at the home for the woman’s son’s 17th birthday party, and underage drinking was observed, police said.
