A man delivering Chinese food to a Valley Stream house Thursday was beaten and robbed by five masked men, Nassau County police said.

The deliveryman, 42, who had minor contusions to his face, refused medical attention.

He could only describe the subjects as all wearing hoodies, according to Fourth Squad detectives.

Police said the deliveryman was making a stop at an East Dover Street residence at about 7:50 p.m. when he became suspicious as two men wearing masks approached him.

He attempted to walk in the opposite direction, but three other males wearing masks surrounded him, began punching him in the face and head and removed his wallet that contained an undisclosed amount of cash and credit cards, police said.

All five suspects then ran off west on East Dover Street.

Anyone with more information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All information will be kept confidential.
