A West Babylon man who crashed a pickup truck early Sunday after overdosing on an unspecified drug was revived at the scene by firefighters using Narcan, Suffolk police said.

Officer Michael Milo found Jon Sepe, 31, of Chelsea Avenue, slumped over in the truck on the eastbound Sunrise Highway in West Babylon at about 5 a.m., with Sepe’s foot still pressing the gas pedal, police said. Some time earlier, Sepe had crashed into the center median of the highway, police said.

Milo broke the passenger window, turned off the vehicle and pulled Sepe out, police said. West Babylon firefighters then administered Narcan, which reverses opioid overdoses, police said in a statement.

Sepe was treated at a hospital and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, police said.

He was taken to the Third Precinct. He faces arraignment Monday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
