Drunken driver fled William Floyd Parkway crash, police say

A driver who fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the William Floyd Parkway in Shirley was later found and charged with driving while intoxicated, Suffolk County police said.
The crash occurred about 10:40 p.m. Thursday and Steven Barnes, 31, of Shirley, was later arrested on Moriches Middle Island Road, police said.
The driver of other car was treated at a hospital and released, police said.
