A Massapequa woman was arrested Wednesday and charged with driving while intoxicated after getting into a crash with her 9-year-old daughter in the backseat, Nassau County police said.

Roseanne DiSimone, 59, was involved in a minor crash at 3:40 p.m. on Forest Avenue in Massapequa, police said in a news release Thursday.

Officers determined she was intoxicated and had her daughter in the car, police said. No injuries were reported and the child was released to her godmother at the scene.

DiSimone is charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with more than .08 percent alcohol in blood, aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

She was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
