One person was charged with driving while intoxicated after a sport utility vehicle overturned and wound up on top of two cars in the driveway of a Levittown home early Saturday, Nassau County police said.

The crash occurred in front of 423 Gardiners Ave. at 2:29 a.m. Five people were injured when the Jeep left the roadway and landed on the parked cars, police said.

Further details weren't immediately available. Police didn't release the identity of the person charged.
