A wrong-way driver was charged with DWI after crashing into another car on Ocean Parkway Friday night, injuring himself and three others, according to State Police.

Nicholas Gutierrez Lopez, 32, faces charges of DWI, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and assault.

Police said Gutierrez Lopez was driving a 2011 Honda Civic east in the westbound lanes of Ocean Parkway when he collided into a 2004 Toyota 4Runner, near Tobay Beach, at 10:41 p.m.

The Toyota had two people inside and Lopez was traveling with a passenger, police said.

Police said all four people were evaluated at hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not immediately release information regarding Gutierrez Lopez's arraignment.
