Donnelly was westbound on College Road in a 2003 Jeep about 11 p.m. when he made a left turn onto Waverly Avenue and struck the eastbound minivan, police said.

The five occupants of the minivan were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for minor injuries, police said.
