Four people working at businesses in the town of Huntington were charged Saturday night with selling e-liquid nicotine to minors, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the four suspects were arrested following an investigation by Second Precinct Crime Section officers and representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Health Services Tobacco Regulation Enforcement Unit into the sale of e-liquid nicotine to minors at 10 businesses.

The investigation was launched in response to community complaints, police said.

Police said the following people were arrested and charged with second degree unlawfully dealing with a child at the following locations between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday:

•Sandipkumar Bhatiya , 42, of Ronkonkoma, employed at Mr. Tobacco Shop II on East Jericho Turnpike in East Northport.

•Joanna Oh, 25, of Malverne, employed at Whatever Vape Shop on East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station.

•Diville Moss, 20, of Smithtown, employed at East Coast Psychedelics on East Jericho Turnpike in Commack.

•Dean Papas, 34, of South Huntington, employed at Huntington Village Vapes on Elm Street in Huntington.

The owners of the four businesses also were issued a notice of violation by the Suffolk County Department of Health, police said.

The suspects were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a date to be determined.
