Joseph Zavesky, of Eastport, arrested in Apple store robbery, police say

A man suspected of robbing an Apple store in Lake Grove was arrested Sunday morning, authorities said.
Suffolk County police said Joseph Zavesky, 32, of Eastport, cut security cables at the Apple Store in the Smith Haven Mall around noon on Friday and allegedly stole two iPhone 15s.
Police said he threatened an employee with a hammer when the employee approached him.
Suffolk County and Southampton Town Police arrested Zavesky at a hotel in Bellport early Sunday morning and charged him with first-degree robbery.
