Nassau County police are investigating the armed robbery of a teenager making a food delivery in Uniondale Saturday night.

There were no injuries.

The robbery occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. A 17-year-old worker delivering food for the El Nopal Restaurant to a Fullerton Avenue residence was approached by a male armed with a black handgun who demanded money, police said.

The victim complied and the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and fled southbound on Fullerton Avenue, police said.

Detectives asked anyone with information to please call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
