Two Long Island men have been arrested and charged with selling counterfeit Rolex, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry merchandise at their Copiague barbershop, Suffolk County police said Sunday.

Leopoldo Nunez, 49, of Lindenhurst, and Jesus Lajara, 39, of Copiague, both owners of the Master Barber shop on Great Neck Road, were arrested Saturday and charged with first-degree trademark counterfeiting, police said.

More than $100,000 in merchandise was seized from the store, police said.

During arraignment at Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip, bail was set for Nunez at $10,000 cash or $50,000 bond. He later posted $10,000 cash and is due back in court Friday. Lajara was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Oct. 11.

Police said the investigation continues and said anyone with information could contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
