Farah Khan of Franklin Square charged in rape of woman in Manhattan, cops say
NYPD officers have arrested a Franklin Square man in the rape of a woman at a Manhattan hotel, police said.
Farah Khan, 27, was arrested on charges that he used a knife in the attack on the woman at 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Comfort Inn Hotel on West 71st Street, police said. Khan was taken into custody around 5 a.m., the NYPD said.
NYPD officials said he was charged with sexual assault, kidnapping, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal possession of a weapon. He was being held without bail.
