A woman with her 7-year-old daughter in the backseat was arrested Tuesday, accused of drunken driving in the parking lot of a Bethpage drugstore, police said.

A Nassau County officer stopped the Nissan Murano driven by Desiree Doliber, 50, of Farmingdale at 6 p.m. in the Walgreens lot at 4120 Hempstead Tpke., police said.

Doliber had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol on her breath police said.

She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. She was awaiting arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

The child was released to a family member at the scene, police said.

Under Leandra’s Law, drivers who are intoxicated or impaired by drugs with a child 15 or younger in the vehicle can be charged with a felony. The law is named for 11-year-old Leandra Rosado, who was killed in an October 2009 DWI crash in Manhattan.
