A woman was arrested after fleeing a four-vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in Farmingville on Tuesday night, Suffolk County police said.

Taylor Darienzo, 30, of Lake Grove, was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee south on South Bicycle Path when she went through a red light at Granny Road about 8 p.m., police said in a news release Wednesday morning.

She struck a westbound 2016 GMC and an eastbound 2002 Suzuki on Granny Road, police said. She then hit a 1987 Chevrolet stopped at a red light facing north on Old Medford Avenue at Granny Road, just over the border into Medford, police said.

Darienzo ran away and was arrested shortly after, police said.

The Suzuki driver, Gregorio Paredes-Mendez, 46, of Medford, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The GMC driver, Marisol Capraro, 42, of Farmingville, and the Chevrolet driver, Michael Biddlecomb, 35, of Selden, were taken to Stony Brook for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Darienzo was also taken to Stony Brook with injuries described as not life-threatening, police said.

She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury and resisting arrest, police said. She will be arraigned later due to her injuries. She was issued six summonses for traffic violations and had nine outstanding warrants.

Granny Road was shut in both directions between Mount McKinley and Old Medford avenues after the crash, police said.

Photographs from the scene show one vehicle with significant damage on the front lawn of a house and two other vehicles with major damage in front of the house.

All four vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
