More than 100 federal agents and police fanned out in Suffolk County in raids aimed at smashing a ring that allegedly enslaved women, forcing them to serve as sex workers in saloons that catered to undocumented immigrants, according to court documents and sources.

Suffolk County Police conducted a raid at the Mexican bar/ restaurant, Sonidos de la Frontera [sounds of the border/frontier], 846 Portion Road, Ronkonkoma in the early morning hours.

Police indicated two men were arrested at the beginning of the raid while everyone else in the bar was investigated before being released. Federal agents (?)
