A Southampton man faces a felony drunken driving charge after driving his pickup into a tree early Sunday in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town police said.

Anacleto Bartolon-Ortiz, 38, drove into the tree on Suffolk Road at about 3:30 a.m., police said.

Responding officers arrested him on a charge of felony driving while intoxicated because he had a prior DWI conviction during the last 10 years, police said.

He also is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failing to maintain lane of travel.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Southampton Town Justice Court.
