Flanders man shot on Shinnecock Indian Reservation, cops say
State Police are investigating the shooting of a Flanders man on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation early Saturday.
Police said the shooting happened about 3:45 a.m. on Little Beach Road on the Southampton reservation. The victim, a 33-year-old man, was shot in the leg. He was taken to Southampton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
After the shooting, two suspects fled on Little Beach Road in a dark-colored Jeep, police said.
