A Queens man was arrested Tuesday night in Franklin Square on drug and weapon charges, Nassau County police said.

Daniel Gonzalez, 29, ducked down in the driver’s seat when officers approached his 2017 Honda at 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Langdon Street and Scherer Boulevard, police said.

When he was asked for identification, Gonzalez reached into the center console, where the officers saw a gravity knife, police said.

Officers also found a handgun, a scale with a white powdery substance and a plastic bag with a white powdery substance, police said.

Gonzalez, of Grand Avenue in Elmhurst, was charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He was awaiting arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
