A man in Glen Cove was charged with arson Saturday morning "in an ongoing dispute" with someone in his Glen Cove neighborhood, police said.

Nassau County police said that early Saturday, 25-year-old Moses Rios of Janet Avenue, "poured a flammable liquid on the front porch of the home and lit it on fire."

The front entranceway of the home, on Coles Court, and its porch were damaged.

No one was home nor were any injuries reported.

Earlier Saturday, police say, Rios threw a brick through the rear window of a vehicle parked in front of the home. No one was in the car.

A police spokeswoman said she didn't know what the dispute was about.

Rios is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead on charges of arson and criminal mischief, police said.

An attorney for Rios could not be immediately located.
