A pair of thieves who stole jewelry and cash from a Great Neck Estates home Saturday were still at large Sunday night, Nassau police said.

A 47-year-old woman arrived at her home on Boxwood Drive and discovered it had been burglarized at about 10 p.m. Saturday, police said.

It was unclear whether detectives have surveillance video or if there are witnesses to the break-in, but in a news release police said two men “were observed entering the house.”

Both men had their faces covered, police said, and one entered the home through a first-floor window, while the other came in through a back door.

Police said the amount of cash and jewelry stolen was “undetermined.”

Detectives ask anyone with information about the crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
