Nassau County police detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a Capital One Bank in Great Neck Plaza in December.

According to robbery squad detectives, the man entered the bank at 121 Middle Neck Rd. at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6 and handed a 22-year-old female teller a note demanding cash. She complied and he fled, entering the passenger side of a blue or black BM, police said.

The car then took off headed south on Middle Neck Road.

There were five employees and one customer inside the bank at the time, authorities said.

No one was injured.

Police revealed a series of photos of the suspect, who is in full view of the bank’s cameras. He is described as between 50 and 55 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and wearing a dark-colored shirt and bluejeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.

All callers will remain anonymous, police said.
