Police: Flatbed truck stolen from St. James business

Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the person or persons who stole an International flatbed truck from Harbor Collision on Middle Country Road in St. James on Jan. 1, 2016. Credit: SCPD
Who stole a flatbed truck earlier this month from a business in St. James? That’s the question police are asking.
And, they’re hoping the public can help answer it.
Suffolk County police said Wednesday that the truck, a 2001 International flatbed, was stolen from the parking lot of Harbor Collision, at 931 Middle Country Rd., on Jan. 1.
The theft occurred at about 8:30 p.m.
Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential — and police said callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
