Man fatally stabbed in Hempstead, Nassau police say

A man was fatally stabbed in Hempstead early Saturday morning, Nassau County police said.
The 24-year-old man was found critically injured with a knife wound to his chest just before 2 a.m. lying in the road on Chamberlain Street near Boylston Street, police said.
Paramedics took the man by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:21 a.m., authorities said.
Police have not identified any suspects.
