A Hempstead man faces murder charges after he fatally stabbed one employee and injured another at a Brooklyn IHOP restaurant on Friday night, the NYPD said.
Police arrested Wilbur Salazar Rios, 44, following an investigation into the incident at the IHOP at 11000 Flatlands Avenue. Police responded to a 911 call for an assault inside the restaurant around 10:39 p.m.
Officers found Hector Reinoso-Perez, 67, with a stab wound to the torso and a 41-year-old man with a slash wound to the hand. Both were IHOP employees, police said.
Police said the weapon was a knife.
