Jose Turcios, 22, of Hicksville, will be arraigned on drug-related charges on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, in First District Court in Hempstead, Nassau County police said. Credit: NCPD

A Hicksville man was arrested Friday afternoon on drug-related charges, Nassau County police said.

Jose Turcios, 22, was taken into custody after an investigation into a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident, police said in a news release.

Turcios is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

He will be arraigned on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
